- 1974: Born in Auckland, New Zealand
- 1986: First computer, Amstrad 6128
- 1990: University of Otago 4 year degree
- 1994: Started work in the IT industry, back in Auckland
- 1996: Started Skydiving
- 1999: Slid over to the Web industry
- 2000: Worked overseas in Hong Kong, Korea, Portugal, USA and the UK
- 2002: Came back to New Zealand and started maffey.com
- 2008: Got married to Bridget at the Chateau Tongariro
- 2015: Started Running
